Bunny Hop

Happy Sunday! I'm feeling a bit better every day. Took a long walk today because the weather was so nice. Hard to tell how long it will last and it's very rare that we hit 80 in March. I also worked on my Cricut class today. I've been trying to cut chipboard and bought a deep cut blade but so far I haven't gotten that to work. I'm going to try to do a card with something I cut out today but not tonight. I'll work on that later this week.
Heard from DH and son who are hiking 58 miles of the Appalachian Trail this week. They have 14 miles down and they said it was a beautiful day. So I guess it was a good day for them and hopefully no blisters.
My card tonight is looking forward to Easter. I did it for Joan's Garden Challenge. The requirements were to make an Easter card: include a bunny; use an embossed background; use colors appropriate for Easter; use a flourish and rhinestones.

I used the sketch from Sketches by Carly. The image is from Doodle Pantry and it's called Quirky Bunny. The eggs are from the same set. The plaid paper is from Doodle Pantry Easter papers. I cut the flourish branch with my Cricut. The embossed background is Swiss Dots and I added rhinestones to the Spellbinder scalloped die. And don't forget the yellow and white striped ribbon.
Quirky Bunny isn't for sale yet but you can still get the set for free by participating in the Doodle Pantry challenge. We still have a few days left.
The work week is upon us. And it's back to the grind. At least I have something special to look forward to this week. On Saturday, I am driving to South Bend, IN to visit Joan from Joan's Garden. I am so excited that I will finally meet her. I so enjoy actually meeting those that I become friends with on the Internet. Hope you have something to look forward to this week. Make it a great one!
