Another Glitter Transfer

Happy Wednesday to you all. The week does seem to be flying by and I am so glad of that. Tomorrow at work I have to have our entire office packed by 5pm to move on Friday. This is the first of two moves. My guess is our final move will be around September or October. At least we are just moving within our current building and preparing for this move will make the next move a lot easier. So tomorrow and Friday will be very busy days for me. I am not without help so it doesn't all fall on me. We are starting to come out of our shell shock with our new assignments. We have to say good-bye to two of our friends on Friday who are moving to another unit and we had a reception for them today. It's very sad to know that our department won't be the same but we know where everyone is going and can still keep in touch. It's just very sad.

On a happier note, I have a bookmark to share with you tonight for Joan's Garden challenge. You can find the tutorial for making the bookmark from an old envelope through Joan's blog. Very easy and it can be a recycled envelope which I love. I again used the glitter transfer technique that I learned at Joan's workshop last weekend. I just love all that glittery fun and no mess. The Glitter Ritz that you use for this technique burnishes into the double sided tape so none of the glitter comes off. How cool is that!

I covered both sides of the envelope with this striped patterned paper. I used the Spellbinder Fleur de Lis die and my new Grand Calibur to cut the lacy background and then popped up my glitter transfer flower. Quick and easy! And oh so fun. Hope you like it.

Thanks for stopping by today. Don't forget that on April 1st I will be showcasing the new release for Doodle Pantry. The new release is amazing and you won't want to miss this one. Have a wonderful Thursday!

Donna
