Happy Fall Y'all

It's really turned chilly here. We had a frost advisory last night. It just seems way to early for that. I'd already taken out the tomatoes but I'd left the peppers in. I haven't been out to see if they survived the night or not. I hope they haven't been lost just yet.

So Happy Sunday to you. I have a house full of extra people this weekend; my son is home from college with his girlfriend and my DH's parents are here. Today we're traveling south to Spring Mill State Park to see the historic village. I hope it warms up a bit before we leave! This card I managed to get finished this morning while everyone was sleeping. I hate when I can't find time to craft, especially on the weekend!

The sketch I used was the Midnight Madness sketch #22. It's a little difficult to see some of the punched leaves I added as embellishments and the inside of the card has a border of punched leaves also.

This card also is for the Cuttlebug Challenge blog challenge this week. The challenge was to make a fall or Halloween card. I've made a bunch of Halloween cards so I decided on a fall card. I'm really pleased with this one. The four background panels, Basic Grey Indian Summer, are embossed with a Cuttlebug folder that I bought from HSN. There were 11 folders in the set and I wrote the names down and now I can't find my list to tell you which one it was. LOL! And HSN isn't advertising the bundle anymore so I can't find their names. I'll have to go search for my list. If I find them I'll write the name on each folder this time!

And believe it or not this card works for one more challenge. I told you a few days ago about a new blog I found on a blog hop, Character Cafe. Their challenge was to use stitching somehow on your project. So I added faux stitching to the central images. Now, I am no sewer so it had to be faux stitching for me. LOL! But it was a fun challenge and it probably took me the longest to do out of all the elements on the card!

So this turned into a much longer post than I expected. Enjoy your Sunday and hopefully I can get some other things done tonight when the Colts play the Titans. GO COLTS!

Happy inking,
