Double Duty Project

I tried doing two challenges at once and really liked how it turned out.

For Created by Courtney's Tuesday Challenge you had to alter a box. Courtney used a small cigar box I think but I used an Altoids box. I thought this would make a lovely gift card holder for someones upcoming birthday.

I did say it was double duty, didn't I? There was 4 challenges issued at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps to go along with their release party last night! I had great fun with Korin and all the sweet 'n sassy ladies that showed up! One of their challenges is to use the colors orange, green and blue. I think I managed to do that one, too!

Here's the recipe:

  • Background paper: The Paper Studio
  • So Many Scallops Stamp Set, Stampin' Up! and the scallop circle punch
  • Ribbon from the $1 Spot at Target

Thanks for stopping by today. We have beautiful sunshine for a change but tomorrow's forecast is storms. Maybe I'll get more crafting time! Hope your weekend is great!

Happy inking,

Donna
